The furnishings in this room were inspired by a one-off sculpted table, the work of a contemporary artist, which represents a skier’s rucksack and a pair of skis with sticks, supporting a large oval crystal top which reflects a lovely Liberty rug in all the colours of the room through the glass. The curtains hang from a pair of old skis which, like the single Liberty-style bed, belong to the beginning of the last century. The private bathroom is on the ground floor of the B & B, and continues the “novelty” theme of the room with curious details, such as the antique golf club used in place of a traditional curtain pole.
